Overview of the position:
The position holder will adapt and optimize a modern rendering system used for AAA gaming so as to make it compatible in Cloud architecture. Distributed programming, Virtualization and Cloud new technologies will be part of your daily activities.
With your creative mind and desire to meet new challenges in the entertainment industry, you’ll be part of a team responsible for designing, developing, validating and supporting innovative technological solutions aimed at developing mega games and optimizing the production of AAA multisite games.
Be part of Ubisoft’s Cloud Computing R & D Team in charge of technological developments for tomorrow’s Gaming.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor of Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in 3D graphic programming
- Knowledge of OpenGL and DirectX
- Knowledge of Open CL et/ou CUDA
- Experience developing video games
- Solid proficiency in C/C++ language
- Multithreading programming expertise
- knowledge of advance 3D rendering algorithm (asset)
- Basic knowledge of video streaming and compression (asset)
- Knowledge of Cloud Technologies (Amazon, OpenStack, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) (asset)
