Job description:

Dali is looking for a candidate to fill the role of an embedded software developer. The successful candidate would work with the development team to design, test, document, troubleshoot and maintain code for various commercial products.

• Strong embedded programming experience in C, C++
• Experience with real-time operating systems, preferably Linux
• Good understanding of software development cycle and methodologies
• Ability to understand hardware block diagrams and schematics
• Experience in development of Linux-based communication systems , or enough technical understanding to be able to learn:
  • ARM processor with embedded Linux hardware architecture (read and understand hardware block diagram/schematic/data sheet)
  • development environment.
  • software architecture (Linux kernel, Drivers, PSOIX, middleware in ANSI C)
• Debugging and troubleshooting of embedded Linux systems
• Implementation of POSIX-based multithreaded applications (understanding of inter-processor communication)
• Strong analytical, problem solving and debugging skills
• Good communications skills, oral and written
• Ability to travel and to support customers occasionally

Education Requirements:

• Relevant Degree with at least 5 years of hands-on experience
