Web Developer/Support
The Web Developer is responsible for the support and deployment of website applications. In addition they are responsible for the development and implementation of website applications. The Web Developer creates functional and scalable applications based on the requirements defined by Manager, Developer and VP of Operations. The Web Developer also works with other teams including designers, developers and QA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain website applications using ASP.NET, C#, MySQL
- Develop and maintain applications using Javascript, jQuery and AJAX
- 1st and 2nd tier support
- Web builds and deployments
- Develop solutions that meet the business requirements and objectives
- Define and document the architecture and processes for projects
- Work closely with other teams including developers, designers and QA
- Communicates with Managers, Team Leads and Product Owners to accomplish business goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of industry experience; Equivalencies will be considered
- Exceptional understanding of web technologies and processes
- Expert knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX
- Strong knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, SQL and Visual Studio
- Ability to prioritize, organize and get the work done
- Ability to deliver high quality work on time and on budget
- Understanding of web application builds and deployments an asset
- Understanding of SEO principles an asset
